Millis Transfer Rolls Out Brand New Benefits Package

Millis Transfer Rolls Out Brand New Benefits Package

There's a great new benefits package available at Millis Transfer.  According to Reid Ransom, Director of HR & Recruitment, the previous plan, which was being managed by a small TPA, needed to be updated. "It was time to provide our employees with options that match the other top amenities we have," Reid said. "By offering benefit options such United Health Care and MetLife, which are nationally recognized companies, it truly puts us in the top tier of the trucking industry."

The new plan also offers some features that a lot of the other carriers do not. For instance, there are small co-pays for doctor visits and for prescriptions. Millis Transfer is also offering Long Term Disability and Whole Life Insurance. According to Reid, having those options "will help to protect drivers against life altering occurrences." Since it was initiated, the response has been phenomenal. "Most have said they cannot believe we were able to offer a plan this comprehensible for such a sweet price."

What are the highlights of the new benefits?  The list is awesome. Along with co-pays for visits and prescriptions, Millis Transfer is now offering a nationally recognized plan that includes mail order scripts as well as the Teledocs (option for calling a doctor without a visit for minor problems) EAP program. There is also short term disability, long term disability, as well as term and whole life insurance. In addition to that, the new plan offers accident and critical illness coverage. And it's all available for a very reasonable price!

When new drivers join Millis Transfer, there is a lot to look forward to. Along with an open, honest, and transparent managed company that operates with small town family values, drivers can now rest easy knowing they have access to one of the best benefits plans in the industry.
